NHS Duct Systems

Sanitary Duct Panelling Systems for Hospitals and Health Centres

HEAD DETAIL where ceiling is suspended the laminated framing system runs through 50mm to give a fixing point for ceiling trim. If the ceiling is plastered then the top rail is scribed to it. The visible rail left above the panel is 50mm, this gives space for the panel to be lifted off using the secret fixed hook clips connecting the system

PANEL constructed from 18mm moisture resistant MDF faced with a High Pressure Laminate with a balancing laminate to the reverse of the panel. The Vertical edges are Postformed (radiused) for a pleasing look but a square edge version with PVC lippings is available if preferable. The horizontal edges of the panel are lipped in laminate as the face or alternatively with Impact Resistant 2mm PVC edging.

PLINTH DETAIL whether on Vanity Unit or Duct System the Plinth is always laminated and usually MR MDF or Plywood. The size is either 100mm to accommodate Vinyl Coved Skirt or 150mm to Accommodate Ceramic Tiles or even no skirt detail at all.

OTHER INFORMATION This system can be manufactured at a lower height for areas that may have window reveals. A Postformed or Bullnosed lid can be incorporated which caps off the top but still gives access into the cistern. The top can be Flat or Sloping depending on the application or appearance that you require.

DESIGN

Our design team produce full working CAD drawings, with exact dimensions for our production use and for on site requirements.

SURVEYING

Being bespoke fabricators we manufacture all of our products to the exact required sizes even if this means doing the surveying ourselves. This is all a part of our free service which ensures it is right first time.

DIMENSIONS

All manufactured sizes are bespoke and are determined by each project and Sanitary Ware requirement.

FEATURES

The APS Duct Panelling System incorporates laminated shadow gaps and feature panels either postformed or square edged, fitted to the frame system with secret fixed suspension clips which give access into the duct but also give a pleasing appearance as everything is hidden.

APPLICATIONS

This system is designed to eliminate the requirement for on site studding. This framing and panel system can be used in any situation where plumbing and pipe work need to be concealed. It is constructed prior to delivery, keeping installation on site to the bare minimum.

EXTRAS

This system can be upgraded by using plywood or compact grade laminate for the shadow gaps and panels making it totally resistant to water or hosing down. Our locking system can be incorporated making it totally vandal proof as the panels need keys to be removed.
