Delta Laminates has recently gained re-certification as part of CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme), but has undergone additional scrutiny to achieve CHAS Premium accreditation status.

CHAS was originally created by experienced health and safety professionals back in 1997, with the aim of improving health and safety standards across the UK. It was a key developer of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations – CDM 2015 and allows contractors to avoid undergoing health and safety assessments for every job, by providing rigorous third party accreditation.

The new, enhanced CHAS Premium status still required Delta to undergo a full health and safety assessment, by a fully qualified CHAS assessor. In addition, Delta was subject to further scrutiny and verification of Environmental, Quality Management, Equal Opportunities & Diversity policies and certification, plus a thorough verification of the company’s Financial & Business Standing. All were carried out in alignment with and compliance to PAS91 standards.

The new enhanced CHAS Premium accreditation means that customers of Delta Laminates can now work with the business with even greater assurance of the company’s strict adherence to health and safety regulations. It also offers complete peace of mind that our Environmental, Quality Management, Equality and Financial practices fully comply with legislation.
