To support a continued increase in business, particularly the demand for contract furniture, Delta Laminates has invested over £300,000 in brand new, state-of-the-art machinery at its factory in Golborne, Warrington. The investment, made earlier in 2017 is now fully operational and includes several new machines.

The new Homag Group CNC Nesting machines deliver superior speed and accuracy, utilising multiple cutting tools. Nesting not only increases speed but also minimise waste material. This combination of speed, accuracy and reduced waste has allowed Delta Laminates to become even more competitive in the growing furniture market sector. The finished product also benefits from advanced levels of quality, thanks to the precision fit afforded by the new machines. A new state-of-the-art press has also been installed as part of the investment.

This investment continues Delta Laminates’ commitment to driving up quality and reducing manufacturing costs. It follows significant investment only 2 years ago in a cutting edge storage system, automated feeding and stacking system and precision panel dividing saw. These benefits are passed on to the customer in the form of superbly and competitive products. Lead times are also reduced following the resulting improved productivity.
