Spinningfields was developed in the 2000’s and is the city’s financial centre and popular destination for restaurants, entertainment and shopping. The £1.5 billion project has re-developed the face of Manchester and includes landmark buildings such as, the Manchester Civil Justice Centre and 1 The Avenue. It’s been described as the’Canary Wharf’ of the North with notable financial tenants such as, Barclays, HSBC and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Allied London who are the property developers responsible for this amazing project, have injected a breath of fresh air into Manchester with this commercial spectacle.
One Spinningfields is the latest addition to this magnificent re-development and boasts 17 floors of office space, the biggest of its kind in Manchester.
We began work back in September 2015 on the design of the washrooms. Working closely with the architect, Shepherd Robson and the principal contractor, BAM Construction Ltd. Our experienced design team, used products from our Zenith cubicle range, along with HPL ducts and bespoke solid surface troughs, using state of the art Fenix Nano Tech material.
The project, which included over £470,000 of products was installed over a 7 month period by our specialist installers, starting in January 2017 and completing late-July the same year.
Sales Director for Delta Laminates, Michael Ward said “It was a huge privilege to be involved in such a landmark project in Manchester City Centre. As we were involved in early engagement with regards to the design of the washrooms with Shepherd Robson and BAM Construction. It made the programming, procurement, manufacture and installation of the project a lot smoother.
I am hugely proud of the team at Delta for the successful delivery of another high-profile project.”
Delta Laminates have been involved in a number of high profile projects and One Spinningfields was one of our highest to date.
We look forward to working with BAM Construction on future projects and wish Allied London and the tenants of One Spinningfields all the success for the future.
